Gotta Have Faith

An excerpt from an excellent piece on Craig Mottram:

"I read lots of stories about other sports, particularly American sports stories about people overcoming obstacles, and I'm fascinated by those sorts of things. Because that's what I do, that's the heart of it. Everyone thinks it's to do with the training … you can learn about the training in four or five books — it's written everywhere. It's the other stuff. Some people, no matter how much you tell them, they'll never be able to do it."
